EBC Racing's Competition Big Brake Kit is very similar to the Apollo Balanced Big Brake Kits, but does not utilise dust boots and are intended for Racing use only!
Designed to fit under most aftermarket 15" wheels.
Features high performance multi-piston calipers with pistons made from stainless steel and fully-floating 2-piece rotors. EBC Racing's Competition Brake Kits come with fully-floating 2-piece rotors as standard. Floating 2-piece rotors allow the cast iron rotor ring to float independently of the hub, reducing stress in the disc leading to reliable performance even when subjected to the most demanding Racing conditions!
Every individual component found in a EBC Racing Big Brake Kit has been designed from the ground up to perform, right down to the very last bleed nipple. Every single brake caliper metal fitting and brake disc drive bobbin is manufactured from stainless steel to ensure parts are long lasting and do not corrode. The brake disc bell and caliper brackets are machined from aerospace grade billet aluminium for high strength and durability. To finish off, every kit is supplied with EBC brake pads, braided brake lines & brake fluid.
Additionally, EBC Racing's Competition Brake Kits also come complete with rear pads and rear brake lines, representing a full vehicle upgrade that ensures an optimum brake balance is achieved and yields shorter stopping distances. EBC Racing's Competition Brake Kits come with everything you need in the box and a detailed installation guide, including race spec brake fluid for the final system bleed.
This kit includes EBC's race variant Apollo brake caliper with a hard anodised finish which is recommended for Track/Competition use only.
EBC recommends the fitment of aftermarket wheels, and that you check for any clearance issues. Sometimes wheel spacers are needed, or the use of larger diameter wheels. If unsure, please contact us.

How to Bed-in EBC Brake Discs
The best way to bed in new brake discs is to use them gently over the first few hundred miles, not getting them too hot and letting them cool gently. Try to avoid hard braking during this time (safety considered).
Because new brake pads will be paired with the new brake discs, follow the bed-in procedure for the brake pads being installed.
